Course Outline:

  • Management of the unconscious victim and airway.
  • ABCs of first-aid.
  • CPR- applicable to children and adults and babies.
  • Obstructed Airway Maneuver for babies, children and adults; both conscious (Heimlich) and unconscious victims. 
  • 2-rescuer scenarios with all victims.
  • Use of pocket masks, ambu-bag, and A.E.D. trainers (defibrillators).
  • Additional training includes any special situations and emergency procedures found in a clinical setting customized for different health care providers.
